PHILOSOPHY
Each individual is unique, hence all problems require an individual and holistic approach.
Prior to each treatment a consultation is required; to help identify the problem and to understand the benefits and purpose of a massage.
We use techniques such as:
-
deep tissue;
-
trigger points;
-
lymphatic drainage;
-
myofascial therapy;
-
active release techniques (ART);
-
proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF);
-
mobilization techniques;
-
as well as a combination of relaxation techniques (Hawaiian, Balinese and Thai).
They are all done according to your current situation, pain threshold, and comfort. At the end of every treatment you are advised on appropriate stretching techniques and/or muscle-building exercises that can assist you in the long run.
